First Responders Come First at Cottonwood Farm Pumpkin Fest

This year's corn maze theme is "Zombie Blackhawks."

The folks at Cottonwood Farm are putting first responders first this weekend.

All first responders and their families are invited to participate for free in what otherwise is billed as “Affordable Family Fun on the Farm.” It’s First Responders Appreciation Weekend on the farm—located at 17250 S. Weber Road in Crest Hil. The farm is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 28-29).

The list of family activities runs the gamut from a Zombie Blackhawk-themed corn maze—featuring live Zombies as guides—to a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo and a hayride station. And, new this year, is Lexi’s Jumpin’ Blobs and a Zombie Farm Paintball Ride.
