Patch Partners with Versed Salon to Collect School Supplies
Versed Salon will collect back-to-school supplies for Daybreak Shelter in Joliet
The staff at Versed Salon, 11914 S. Route 59 in Plainfield, have always been quick to step up to the plate and help the community. They have been collecting school supplies for Daybreak Shelter in Joliet for a couple years now.
"Just from our team we already have two huge boxes," Annika Chizmark, salon director, said. "It's so nice to actually have people care."
The partnership they have to collect school supplies for Daybreak Shelter came from a client named Dixie Johnson who has volunteered at the shelter for some time.
Daybreak Shelter is in need of the following supplies:

- large glue sticks
- sandwich and gallon-sized plastic bags
- graph paper
- markers
- #2 pencils
- wide-rule composition books
- dry-erase markers
- crayons
- pink erasers
