REALLY, REALLY FREE MARKET

Plainfield United Methodist Church’s Green Team Small Group
will be hosting their second annual “Really, Really Free Market” on Saturday,
August 2 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Plainfield United Methodist Church to
encourage the community to come together and aid one another. This year the
Green Team is pleased to announce that co-sponsoring the event are the Village
of Plainfield and Friendship Baptist Church!

It is a global movement, a free alternative that counteracts
capitalism by providing a form of “gift economy.”

PUMC  will begin
collecting donations on July 21 and will continue to the event. Donations can
be dropped off at the following locations:

PUMC Church at 15114 S.
Illinois St., Plainfield Hours
Mon-Thurs 8:00AM-4:30PM

Friendship Baptist Church
at 15801 S Rt 59, Plainfield Hours Mon-Thurs 9:00AM-5:00PM

Village Hall at 24401 W.
Lockport St, Plainfield Hours Mon-Fri 7:30AM-5PM

PUMC would like to invite the entire community to
participate in this event. Participation can include donating, volunteering and
shopping.
