Plainfield Relay For Life Set for June 21-22 at Plainfield Central

This year's Relay For Life of Plainfield will move to a new location.

Presented by Edward Hospital, the 16th annual event to raise money and awareness to fight cancer is set for Saturday, June 21, at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 Fort Beggs Dr.

So far, 24 teams have already raised more than $18,000 to support research and resources for people battling cancer, according to the Relay For Life of Plainfield website.

The event is slated to kick off at 2 p.m. June 21 at Plainfield Central, with teams circling the track all night long. Closing ceremonies are scheduled for 6 a.m. Sunday, June 22.
