Teen taken to Rush-Copley Hospital following crash.

A young teenage boy was hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon near a Plainfield park, Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said.

He said the teen was on a bicycle coming out of a driveway at about 1 p.m. on 127th Street near Northwest Community Park when the accident happened.

"He was coming out of the driveway and he didn't see the car," Stratton said.

The teen suffered a possible broken leg in the accident and was taken to Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora, Stratton said.
