Carnival Wristbands Return to Plainfield Fest
The three-day fest in downtown Plainfield kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday.
If you're heading out to the fest this weekend, you might want to bring some cash for the always popular carnival, provided again this year by North American Midway.

The carnival is open from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Pricing is as follows:
- One carnival ticket for $1.25
- 22 tickets for $25
- 55 tickets for $60
Admission to most rides is two to four tickets, according to fest spokeswoman Heather Heavens.
On Sunday, fest-goers can buy $22 wristbands, good for unlimited rides all day long.
This year, Plainfield Fest is presented by title sponsor Rod Baker Ford.
