Plainfield Relay For Life Steps Off This Weekend
Annual American Cancer Society fundraiser will take place at Plainfield Central.
Presented by Edward Hospital, the 16th annual Relay For Life of Plainfield is set for Saturday, June 21, at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 Fort Beggs Dr.
As of Thursday, 32 teams had already raised more than $59,000 to support research and resources for people battling cancer, according to the Relay For Life of Plainfield website.
The event is slated to kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday at Plainfield Central, with teams circling the track all night long. Closing ceremonies are scheduled for 6 a.m. Sunday, June 22.
