  • The stars have been filming at a farmhouse in rural Minooka, but the production is using District 202's Aux Sable Middle School as a home base of sorts.

Fans have been staking out the school this week, hoping to catch a glimpse of the co-stars. While the actors have occasionally stopped to wave at fans gathered outside Aux Sable, some got a special treat on Wednesday night.

Kunis, who has also starred in "That '70s Show," "Family Guy" and films including "Black Swan," Ted" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," took a moment to pose for photos an interact with fans.

Jessica Frausto of Plainfield shared a photo of herself with the actress on Plainfield Patch's Facebook page, along with some video of Kunis interacting with the crowd.

"She came out of her trailer and ran across the street into the crowd," Frausto said. "Everyone mobbed her, but she took pictures with people before she had to leave."

It wasn't the first time Kunis has surprised fans with an impromptu meet-and-greet.

On Tuesday, the actress got out of the car to greet some fans gathered down the road from the Minooka farmhouse. Though security has been tight outside the set on Van Dyke Road, the fans were waiting nearby with a sign reading "We Love Mila!"

"She's a big star, but she's humble enough to do this. ... She was just really genuine and sweet, down to earth," fan Brandon Blattner of Joliet said.

In Frausto's video, Kunis' appearance creates a brief moment of pandemonium, as fans rush to ask her for photos, but the actress remains calm as she greets onlookers.

The film production is scheduled to remain in the area through Aug. 6, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's department.
